Student Leadership
At The Kingsway School, we believe that leadership cannot merely be taught; it must be modelled and experienced. Our student leaders are expected to model excellent behaviour, attitude values and act as ambassadors for other students.
The school has a rigorous recruitment process for appointing student leaders at all levels to ensure that we have the best students for various student leadership positions.
For the first time ever, we have implemented a student leadership structure for both Broadway and Foxland Campus. Some of the student leadership roles within this structure include:

Assembly Programme
Assemblies play a crucial role in the educational experience of our students. They provide opportunities to build a sense of community; celebrate achievements; promote the school values and culture; recognise and illuminate important cultural events; share important information about the school day.
The assembly programme is also integral to our delivery of the Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) Curriculum and is mapped against the 6 PPE domains.
Form time
Form time sets the tone for the rest of the day and provides a structured start to ensure students are ready to learn. At The Kingsway School, our form time is well planned and structured to deliver:
- Key Messages to all students every Monday
- Key components of the PPE curriculum: Preparing for the Future and Navigating the Modern World
- SEAL (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning)
- The Literacy Programme
Extra-curricular
Beyond our classrooms, we strive to develop our learners as a whole by creating meaningful enrichment opportunities that connect the learning in the classroom to the modern world, so Kingsway students feel both part of our school community and understand that they have a valuable place in society as a whole.
